## Description

Yellow Bear Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving understanding and support for people affected by primary immunodeficiency (PI). Based in Peoria, Illinois, it works to make these often-overlooked disorders more visible and to help families facing diagnosis and treatment challenges. The foundation focuses on raising awareness, encouraging earlier diagnosis, and funding research aimed at better diagnostic approaches and treatment plans. It shares personal stories to show how PI can affect individuals and families, and promotes community involvement in making the condition more widely understood.

Yellow Bear Foundation brings people together through events, sponsorship opportunities, donations, and educational outreach. Its event offerings include Screaming Pumpkin Night at the Casino, Hibernation Celebration, and other community activities. The organization also shares updates and stories through its blog and invites supporters to join its mailing list. By connecting awareness efforts with fundraising and research support, the foundation seeks to help advance care and bring hope to people living with primary immunodeficiency and related immune disorders.
