YET, originally established as Young Entrepreneurs of Thessaloniki in 2008, has evolved into a registered NGO based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Today, YET stands for Youth, Entrepreneurship, Education, and Technology. The primary objective of YET is to support and empower young and future entrepreneurs by fostering innovation and skills development. YET is dedicated to helping its dynamic audience, which includes college students, young professionals, startups, current entrepreneurs, and SMEs, enhance their managerial, networking, and leadership skills through various activities. Over the years, YET has collaborated with public and private educational institutions, SMEs, MNCs, journalists, entrepreneurs, Chambers, Business Angels, and Venture Capitalists, creating a robust network for skill development and networking opportunities. Their activities range from informative and training seminars with industry experts, invitation-only round table discussions, and network luncheon dinners to open events with up to 200 participants. Topics covered include social entrepreneurship, financing start-ups, innovation, creativity, business ethics, branding, career counseling, and soft skills development. YET is also actively involved in the digital transformation space, recognizing the significance of tech skills in today's startup and business environment. They have partnered with global players like Google, Udacity, Startup Europe Week, and Global Entrepreneurship Week to offer training programs since 2018. Additionally, YET has developed online platforms for e-skills training, e-mentoring, boosting exports, and promoting initiatives. As a Member of the EU Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition, YET remains committed to supporting the growth of young entrepreneurs in the digital era.
