Yft is a renowned brand in the behavioral health care industry, specializing in managed care systems. In response to the increasing costs of behavioral health care, Yft collaborates with public agencies in Texas to find effective models and balance the quality of care with funding services. Their range of services is designed to support the growth and rehabilitation of children who may be emotionally disturbed, mentally retarded, chemically dependent, medically fragile or developmentally delayed, or involved in the juvenile justice system. Yft offers a comprehensive set of services, including intake and referral systems, pre-authorization of services, concurrent utilization reviews, regular provider evaluations, and reports on the bio-demographic characteristics of the client population. They also focus on provider performance through metrics such as cost per case, average length of stay, and percentage of satisfactory program completions. Moreover, Yft emphasizes the importance of education and training programs. Established in 1960 as the Paul Anderson Youth Home, Yft has a rich history of serving homeless children in Texas. In 1990, they responded to a request from the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services (DFPS) and were awarded a contract to provide LOC support services. As a private, non-profit organization, Yft works closely with DFPS to implement the Texas Service System.
