Maison de la culture yiddish is the largest European center for the teaching and dissemination of Yiddish culture. Created in 2002 through the merger of the Medem Library and the Association for the Study and Dissemination of Yiddish Culture, it is a vibrant place where something is always happening. They offer Yiddish language and conversation classes, intensive language courses, choir, klezmer music, theater workshops, cooking workshops, literary translation workshops, performances, and social events.

They also organize visits to places of Jewish culture and trips to important Yiddish cultural sites. With over 40,000 documents, their mediatheque is a treasure trove, and the Tshaynik Café is a place where Yiddish, French, and almost every other language can be heard.
