# YMGF - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ymgf.ch` ## Description Young Mountain Guides Foundation (YMGF) is a Zermatt-based foundation dedicated to encouraging young people to discover mountain and snow sports and supporting aspiring mountain guides. Its three-stage program moves from inspiration to motivation and practical support, offering a pathway from introductory activities to professional preparation. The Juniors Academy welcomes children and young people from age 10. In partnership with local ski and alpine clubs, it provides winter snow-sport activities and summer climbing and introductory high-mountain trips, with an emphasis on enjoyment, friendship and outdoor movement. The Climbers Academy offers participants aged 15 and older more advanced instruction with mountain guides, helping them gain the skills and experience to plan and lead tours. It also builds a foundation for potential training as mountain guides or ski instructors. In the Guides Academy, candidates pursuing mountain-guide training receive targeted preparation and mentoring from guides and experts. YMGF supports local, non-profit projects in the Upper Valais when they are connected to mountain sports or mountain-guide education. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ymgfzermatt) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/young.guides) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGBhBeQDR/w/300/h/136/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793705395572) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idGBhBeQDR/w/782/h/783/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793705395871) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tan Hide | #fa9b57 | accent | | Muesli | #a67658 | dark | | Cherokee | #fdd79a | light | ## Fonts - entypo-fontello-enfold — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
