## Description

The Yorkshire Mountain Bike Marathon is an inclusive off-road cycling event organised in collaboration between Northern Ride and Birdsall Estates. Held on the private, normally inaccessible 12,000-acre Birdsall Estate, the marathon gives riders the opportunity to explore the natural singletrack, woodland and distinctive terrain of the Yorkshire Wolds. The event welcomes a range of abilities: participants can aim for a fast time or take on the course at their own pace. Route options are offered at 25km, 40km, 65km and 80km, providing different levels of challenge. The website features event information, a picture gallery, contact details and results from recent and past editions. It also highlights Brown Moor Farm, an organic working farm on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, with sheep and free-range hens. The next listed edition is the 10th anniversary event, scheduled for Sunday 6 June 2027, with entries due to open soon. Northern Ride is based in Malton, North Yorkshire.
