## Description

Yorktown Partners LLC is an independently owned and operated asset management firm that specializes in making equity investments in private companies within the energy sector. With a rich history dating back to 1991, Yorktown was initially established by the firm's founders while they were working at Dillon, Read & Co. Inc., a renowned investment banking firm. In 1997, when Dillon Read was sold to Swiss Bank Corp., the visionary founders took the opportunity to acquire Yorktown and have since been steering the company towards success. At Yorktown, investments are made by a team of experienced professionals who are fully committed to the firm. As both general partners (GPs) and limited partners (LPs), the staff personally invest in each partnership, ensuring a vested interest in the success of their investments. Yorktown serves a diverse range of investors, including endowments, foundations, family offices, individuals, insurance companies, and pension funds. Located in the heart of New York City at 410 Park Avenue, Yorktown Partners LLC is a trusted name in the energy sector.
