## Description

Yoshinkan Nové Město nad Metují, z.s. is a karate club based in Nové Město nad Metují, Czech Republic. It offers training for children and adults, with sessions for beginners and more advanced students held at the Malecí Primary School gym. The club’s practice is grounded in karate techniques as taught by the Czech JKA Karate Association, with an emphasis on flexibility, balance, coordination and control of movement. It also highlights the practical application of skills for self-defense. New members are accepted through scheduled recruitment periods, and the club announces separate opportunities for younger children and participants aged eight and above, subject to limited places. Members of the public can also join selected free training sessions on the last Fridays of certain months; individual lessons are available during the year for a fee. The club organizes training events and karate workshops, and shares current information through its website and social media. Beginners do not need special clothing or footwear during their first year of training.
