About

Description

Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) is a nationally recognized brand and a federally incorporated, non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization. Their primary focus is to train high-potential young Canadian leaders in global affairs and diplomacy. YDC achieves this objective through various products and services.

As an organization, YDC offers hands-on training programs and establishes strategic partnerships that provide their delegates with exclusive access to high-level geopolitical and global governance summits, including the World Bank & IMF, OECD, UN, NKS, WTO, the Y20 (Youth 20), and the Y7 (Youth 7). This exposure allows delegates to develop essential skills in diplomacy, policy-making, and advocacy. Additionally, YDC conducts in-depth research and publishes commentary on public and global affairs through their influential platform, the Young Diplomats Journal.

They also collaborate with the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs G20 Research Group. Furthermore, YDC actively advocates for policies that represent the interests of young people and professionals. They engage directly with government officials, agencies, and international institutions to bring about positive change.
