Young Initiative is a Romanian educational NGO that aims to empower people through education. Founded in 2009, their mission is to provide the necessary educational tools for individuals to develop personally and professionally, contributing effectively to the future of Romania. Young Initiative focuses on three main pillars of action: Social Inclusion, Youth Empowerment, and NGO Development.

They work with various groups, including institutionalized children, young people residing in social apartments, high-school students, young professionals, international volunteers, NGOs, nonprofit organizations and their managers, and public institutions. Young Initiative organizes regular educational workshops for children, manages a Nonprofit Organizations Management Center that offers a free working space and trainings for Romanian NGOs, provides a free library space called BiblioLounge for youth leisure and NGOs, hosts international volunteers, and organizes international mobilities for young people and youth workers. They also draft youth policy recommendations for local and national authorities.
