# YOUNG RUN - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `youngrun.sk` ## Description YOUNG RUN is a community-focused running event created by three friends united by a passion for sport and personal challenges. Held in partnership with Nestlé as Nestlé YOUNG RUN, it welcomes experienced runners, beginners, families and children, promoting an inclusive atmosphere where participants can enjoy running and test their limits. The event offers several race options: a 5 km run, a flat 10 km course suited to runners seeking a personal best, a 21 km half-marathon, and a two-person relay in which each runner completes 5 km. Children can take part in 700 m and 150 m races, with activities including a children’s area. Alongside race-day registration, participant information and event programming, YOUNG RUN supports charitable causes by donating part of the funds raised and inviting runners to contribute. Proceeds from its youngest participants’ 150 m run go to a special school in Prievidza supporting integrated and disabled children.
