## Description

Your Money Matters Financial Mentoring, established in Tacoma, Washington in 2018, is dedicated to enhancing financial literacy and well-being in economically vulnerable communities. This impactful program recognizes that many individuals complete financial education courses feeling uncertain about practical application and next steps. To bridge this gap, Your Money Matters pairs participants with skilled mentors who guide them through the complexities of personal finance at their own pace. These dedicated mentors assist individuals in numerous areas, including selecting appropriate bank accounts, completing tax forms, managing debt, and creating household budgets. The program’s mission is to empower participants to make informed financial decisions and cultivate responsible money management habits that contribute to long-term financial stability. With a vision to build stronger financial foundations for individuals and families, Your Money Matters aims to establish essential financial safety nets and practices that can significantly enhance the quality of life for current and future generations. Engaging with this program is a step towards a more secure financial future.
