The Senior Resource Center for Douglas County (SRC) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults. As a go-to resource in Douglas County, Kansas, SRC provides a wide range of resources, information, opportunities, and advocacy for older residents. Since its establishment in 1972 as the Douglas County Planning Council on Services for the Aging, SRC has evolved into a comprehensive center for seniors.

It offers programs and services tailored to meet the diverse interests and needs of older adults, from active Baby Boomers to the frail elderly. SRC ensures older adults can remain independent and engaged in their homes and communities by providing necessary support and assistance during transitions.
