The Youth Coalition of the ACT is a brand that represents and promotes the rights, interests, and wellbeing of young Canberrans aged 12-25 years and those who work with them. They take a collaborative approach to their work, consulting and engaging with members and stakeholders on policy and advocacy opportunities. Their services include policy development, advocacy, sector development, and consultancy.

In policy development, the Youth Coalition actively engages in the development of policies that affect young people and responds to policy activities such as discussion papers and strategies. They also undertake advocacy and representation work to raise awareness of emerging issues to the government and the broader community. To support workers and services in the youth and community sectors, the Youth Coalition provides sector development activities focusing on information provision, training, networking, resource development, collaborations, and partnerships.

They also offer consultancy support for community-based programs, services, and government agencies to improve outcomes for young people.
