Youthful Cities is a social enterprise that creates data-driven solutions to make cities better for everyone. They work towards positive action through initiatives such as their Urban Work Index, which covers key topics within the ecosystem of work. The project is championed by RBC Future Launch and funded in part by the Government of Canada.

Another initiative, DEVlab, aims to develop a dynamic, engaged, and vital young workforce in cities through community action research across eight Canadian cities. Youthful Cities also seeks to understand how the youth workforce and work ecosystems in Canada have changed after the COVID-19 pandemic through their online survey "What's Up with Work Lately?" They organize events such as the Urban Work Summit and offer solutions such as data products and visualization, community action research, and more. Through these initiatives, they aim to make cities more youthful, connected, open, dynamic, playful, curious, and inventive.
