## Description

Youth Wrestling Rankings (YWR) is an independent national results and rankings platform focused on boys’ and girls’ youth wrestling in the United States. Its rankings are built from verified head-to-head match results, using opponent strength, match recency, age context, and private Glicko-2 calculations to assess athletes. The site publishes national Top 20 rankings by age division and weight class, as well as pound-for-pound lists that compare wrestlers across weights. Users can browse rankings by state, search athlete profiles, and review records, Top 20 results, dominance scores, and tournament results. YWR also provides tournament results, upcoming event listings, tournament comparisons, and a “This Week” feature. Its published ledger tracks verified bouts, while the rankings methodology explains how results are processed; tournament placements themselves do not add ranking points or bonuses. Wrestlers with strongly supported estimated ages may remain eligible and are labeled until definitive proof is available. The platform also offers correction requests, safety and privacy information, and options to claim a wrestler profile.
