Yayasan Usaha Mulia (YUM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering children, families, and communities in Indonesia, helping them break the cycle of poverty. With over four decades of experience, we have developed a deep understanding of the needs of these communities, allowing us to build strong relationships with the people we serve, as well as our partners and institutions. Poverty in Indonesia goes beyond a lack of money; it encompasses various issues that hinder individuals from meeting their basic needs and achieving a better life with dignity.

Despite widespread development, there are still many areas with a severe lack of proper health, education, and community services. Millions of families survive on less than two dollars a day, living below the poverty line. YUM works tirelessly in this vast archipelago to support these communities, providing hope and a way out of poverty through our programs.

Our initiatives focus on healthcare, education, vocational training, and rehabilitation for orphans and destitute children. We are committed to transparency and accountability, being annually audited by an external organization. YUM is also a member of Susila Dharma International Association, with consultative status at the UN Economic and Social Council and the UN Children's Fund.
