## Description

Zagreb Pride is an organization based in Zagreb, Croatia, working to advance equality and protect the rights and dignity of LGBTIQ people and communities. Its work combines advocacy with education, research, publishing, and support for and within the LGBTIQ community. A central part of its public activity is the annual Zagreb Pride march, alongside Pride Month events and initiatives that promote visibility, solidarity, and equal rights.

The organization shares information about LGBTIQ rights in Croatia, sex, gender and gender identity, intersex topics, life partnership, queer parenting, and rainbow families. It also produces publications and research and invites community members to take part in projects and Pride organizing. Zagreb Pride provides a confidential channel for reporting violence and discrimination, and donations help fund legal support for LGBTIQ people who are victims of discrimination or hate crimes. Its work is grounded in decades of community organizing: the Pride march has taken place since 2002. Through public education, resources, events, and advocacy, Zagreb Pride supports the community and promotes a more equal society.
