## Description

Zweefvliegclub Flevo (ZC Flevo) is a member-run gliding club based at Terlet Airfield near Arnhem in the Netherlands. Founded in 1972, the club brings together people from a range of backgrounds who share an interest in motorless flight, flying club aircraft using an electric winch launch and rising warm air currents called thermals. In suitable conditions, gliders can remain airborne for hours.

The club welcomes newcomers through a two-day introductory experience with six launches and instructor guidance. It costs €180 and is non-binding; those who join can have the fee deducted from their registration cost. Members can take part in flight training and work towards a gliding pilot certificate, with a minimum age of 14 to begin training and 16 to earn the certificate. Membership includes lessons, access to club gliders and launch facilities, and unlimited launches under the relevant membership package. Flevo also offers activities including summer courses and flying camps.
