# Gozdarski inštitut Slovenije - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `zdravgozd.si` ## Description Varstvo gozdov Slovenije is an information portal focused on forest protection in Slovenia. It provides resources and updates for forestry professionals, researchers, land managers, and others interested in forest health. The site presents the work of the country’s forest protection and reporting, diagnostic, and forecasting services, which monitor harmful biological and environmental factors, investigate their effects, and develop forecasts and practical guidance. Visitors can consult a tree-damage identification handbook with descriptions, biology, distribution information, images, and a glossary of specialist terms. The portal also publishes news, annual and technical reports, educational materials, regulations, and information on forest pests and diseases. Its forecasting resources cover the occurrence of harmful agents, including bark beetles, as well as wildfire danger and other forest risks. Additional tools and data include monitoring-trap information, pest-development models, weather-station records, and guidance on sanitary logging. The portal lists related events, useful links, and contacts for forest-protection specialists. Its broader mission includes diagnosing and tracking forest threats, supporting environmentally appropriate prevention and control, and sharing knowledge about forest ecosystems and biodiversity. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/gozdisvargo) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYUOP5uPb/w/150/h/81/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793715438657) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idYUOP5uPb/w/789/h/789/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793715438867) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Tahuna Sands | #eef0c3 | accent | | Deep Fir | #111b01 | dark | | Glacier | #85b3cb | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
