## Description

Zeche Amalia is a leisure destination in Bochum-Werne, Germany, transforming a former coal mine site into 34 hectares of outdoor recreation. Its aim is to make golf and ball games accessible to everyone, with activities for families, friends, school groups, clubs and businesses. The two attractions open now are ZechenAdventureGolfXXL, an 18-hole adventure course that combines golf with industrial heritage and landscaped grounds, and ZechenFunFußball, an 18-hole football game featuring obstacles instead of defenders. Clubs, balls and other playing equipment are included in the ticket price, and visitors can choose individual admission or a combination ticket for both courses. Four further attractions are planned, including football golf, a driving range, practice greens and a golf course. Food trucks and a hospitality tent offer food and drinks, with outdoor seating and a terrace overlooking the grounds. Zeche Amalia also hosts seasonal activities and events, and can arrange children’s birthdays, group outings, team days and private celebrations.
