Rob Hirschfeld is the CEO and co-founder of RackN, a leading company in physical and hybrid DevOps software. With over 15 years of experience in the cloud and infrastructure industry, Rob has worked with early ESX Betas and served four terms on the OpenStack Foundation Board. He has also held a position as Executive at Dell.

As a co-founder of the Digital Rebar project, Rob is dedicated to creating a new generation of DevOps orchestration by leveraging containers and service-oriented ops. He strongly believes that technology for running data centers and applications on the cloud is just a small part of the bigger story. With a background in Industrial Engineering, Rob is passionate about applying Lean and Agile processes to software delivery.
