## Description

ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS is a Hamburg-based foundation that supports initiatives and projects across education, culture, research, democracy, journalism and social issues. It funds more than 400 initiatives and provides information on its priorities, funding guidelines and application process for prospective partners. Its work includes promoting educational opportunity, supporting the arts and cultural heritage, strengthening democratic debate and advancing research in the humanities and social sciences.

The foundation is closely connected with two Hamburg institutions: Bucerius Law School and the Bucerius Kunst Forum. Bucerius Law School is Germany’s first private foundation-run university for legal studies, with a mission to renew legal education. It promotes international perspectives, diversity and community, and offers scholarships and an innovative fee system intended to make study accessible regardless of financial means. The Bucerius Kunst Forum presents exhibitions, including projects exploring the collections of Jewish art collectors in Germany. ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS also organizes and supports talks, festivals, literary events, competitions and other public programs, and shares news and opportunities through its newsletter and digital channels.
