## Description

The All Japan Kendo Dojo Federation is a general incorporated foundation established in 1963 to support organizations across Japan that promote kendo and nurture young people. With more than 2,000 member groups, it works to advance kendo and encourage the healthy development of children and youth, with cooperation from the Nippon Foundation and the All Japan Kendo Federation.

Its activities include national and regional kendo competitions, including the annual National Dojo Youth Kendo Tournament, held over two days each summer at Nippon Budokan. The federation also organizes instructor training courses, workshops, and other development activities. Its All Japan Youth Kendo Training Hall, established in 1985, hosts seminars, training camps, and kendo classes for children, women, and adults, and is open to the wider public.

The federation provides a nationwide directory to help people find affiliated dojos, along with membership information, dojo disaster compensation, and resources for member organizations. It also shares tournament results and match videos through its website and YouTube channel, and provides information on purchasing recordings of tournament matches.
