## Description

Zenkou Research Institute is a Japan-based organisation working to make care and welfare services more sustainable through operational reform and digitalisation. It collaborates with care providers, technology companies, government bodies, researchers and other partners to improve productivity while supporting quality care and the people who deliver it.

Its services include SCOP, an evolving digital platform that connects care operations, records and data analysis to support evidence-based care and stronger management. The institute also provides Smart Caregiver training and certification, helping staff develop skills in technology use and operational improvement. For care technology developers, it offers support from planning and product development through testing and implementation, including access to real-world care settings. Its business support helps providers identify operational challenges, put improvements into practice and develop digital leaders.

Additional services include staffing and placement, administrative support for local governments, and international projects. These connect care providers with specified skilled workers, assist regional care DX initiatives, and help adapt Japanese smart-care approaches and technologies for overseas markets.
