## Description

The National Federation of Parents’ Associations for Children and Adults with Physical Disabilities (Zenshiren) is a Japanese public interest corporation working to improve the welfare of people with physical disabilities and their families. Its mission is to support independence, social participation, and safe, fulfilling lives in familiar local communities. The federation connects national and local parent associations across Japan and shares welfare information, regional news, and updates on services and support.

Zenshiren organizes national and regional conferences, recreation programs, therapeutic camps, art exhibitions, and training seminars for community leaders. It also conducts surveys and publishes reports, newsletters, and other informational materials, including resources about medical residential facilities. The organization advocates for the needs of people with disabilities through policy requests and offers information about assistance programs and relevant events. Its activities include coordinating welfare-support vending machines, with part of the proceeds helping fund the work of the federation and its regional and local associations.
