## Description

Zen Stitching is a brand that encompasses the art of stitching as a means to promote mindfulness, self-care, resilience, and environmental awareness. Led by interdisciplinary artist Kate Ward, Zen Stitching offers beautiful and practical designs of sashiko, a traditional Japanese mending technique. By embracing stitching, you can mend your clothes, reduce your carbon footprint, and experience the calming benefits of sewing. Zen Stitching provides various products and services to help you on your mindful stitching journey. They offer online courses, including the Sashiko Stitch Club, where you can expand your library of stitches and techniques. Additionally, you can learn about Indigo dyeing and Japanese shibori techniques, or explore fabric manipulation through natural dyeing. The brand believes in starting wherever you are and using what you have, emphasizing the importance of creativity without waste. They also donate a portion of their profits to causes related to human and animal welfare. Join the Zen Stitching community and experience the joy of creating with mindfulness and connection.
