TECEC (Tanzania Early Childhood Education and Care) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a strong foundation for children from conception to age 8, ensuring they have the best start in life and school. Our team works closely with health centers, parents, caregivers, and preschool teachers to promote the holistic development of these young children. At TECEC, we focus on a comprehensive range of services and programs to cater to the different needs of children in under-resourced communities.

Our initiatives include promoting good health, adequate nutrition, safety and security, responsive caregiving, and opportunities for learning. We prioritize the well-being of children through healthy eating habits, regular health check-ups, and immunizations. We also emphasize early learning and provide age-appropriate educational toys and materials to enhance cognitive skills and creativity.

TECEC establishes a dedicated Parenting Training Center where we offer workshops and classes to develop parenting skills and provide guidance on child-rearing practices. We encourage parents to spend quality time with their children, engage in reading and playing activities, and provide them with parenting education and resources. Our organization believes that the physical environment plays a significant role in a child's learning experience.

Thus, we have redesigned our classrooms to create a stimulating, child-friendly space that encourages active engagement and exploration. Inclusive education is a core value for us, and we strive to provide equal opportunities for children with disabilities.
