## Description

Tierschutzverein SchaZi Unsere Zickenfarm e.V. is an animal sanctuary dedicated to protecting the animals in its care and rescuing others so they can live free from violence, exploitation, and use for human interests. The organization promotes respect for animals as intelligent, feeling individuals rather than property, and shares the stories of the animals who find refuge on its farm. Around 500 animals have found a safe home there, many rescued from poor conditions or saved from death, including older, ill, and disabled residents. The farm currently houses goats, sheep, and cats, while horses, ponies, and cattle are cared for at partner farms. Supporters can learn about the animals, adopt an animal through sponsorship, make donations, or contribute goods and volunteer time. Donations help cover ongoing costs such as food, veterinary care, medication, and accommodation. The organization also invites visitors and offers a newsletter to keep supporters informed about its work and the animals’ lives.
