Welcome to Zida Academy, a private licensed childcare and educational center that caters to children aged 18 months to under 7 years. Located in the heart of Stittsville, our academy spans over 1. 5 acres of fully fenced and gated landscaped private property, surrounded by the beautiful Trans Canada Trail.

At Zida Academy, we offer state-of-the-art facilities and aim to create a world-class learning environment for our students. Our licensed playgrounds span over 10,000 square feet, providing ample space for children to learn and explore. We are conveniently located with easy access to free public parking, bus routes, and Main Street.

Open year-round, except for statutory holidays, we operate from Monday to Friday, from 6:15 AM to 6:15 PM. At Zida Academy, we prioritize your child's well-being and nutrition. All meals, including a hot lunch and two snacks, are prepared on-site by our professional chef using fresh and healthy ingredients.

We accommodate various allergies and dietary restrictions while following the recommendations from Canada's Food Guide. Our team of educators includes Registered Early Childhood Educators (RECEs) and Ministry of Education approved educators. With backgrounds in educational methods such as the International Baccalaureate, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf, we provide a diverse and enriching learning experience.

Additionally, we are proud to be Canada's first and only Steinway Select School, offering piano lessons as part of our curriculum. Research has shown that learning to play an instrument enhances cognitive and academic potential in children. The name ZIDA derives from the Chinese words 智 (Zhì) and 达 (Dá), meaning Knowledge and Achieve respectively.
