Unlike other delivery services, ZipLunch focuses on reducing their carbon footprint and food waste by grouping deliveries to specific office buildings and delivering them with one vehicle, during set times. Each week, the menu curator extraordinaire selects the daily lunch choices, featuring two to three local restaurants with up to 8 item choices per restaurant. Once the driver is close, a notification is sent for order pickup, either from a designated hub inside the building or for curb-side pickup.
