## Description

Živý dvůr is a Czech-language online community and forum for people who keep poultry and other small-farm animals. It welcomes both beginners and experienced keepers, offering a place to ask questions, exchange practical advice, share experiences, and follow news and regulations relevant to small-scale husbandry.

The forum covers chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, guinea fowl, pigeons, and other birds. Its discussion areas address breed selection, daily care, egg production, meat production, raising young birds, health and prevention, housing, runs, ventilation, bedding, feed, water, incubation, parasites, vaccination, and seasonal concerns. Members can also discuss keeping different species together, protecting birds from predators, and practical issues such as local rules, neighbors, noise, and odors.

Živý dvůr also provides community features, including introductions, keeper diaries, photo galleries, regional discussions, and a neighborhood marketplace. The marketplace is intended for small keepers to post or browse offers and requests involving animals, hatching eggs, farm eggs and other home-produced goods, feed, and equipment such as coops and hutches.
