## Description

ZKas is an innovative cryptocurrency that seamlessly integrates the strengths of Kaspa's BlockDAG proof-of-work with the privacy features of Zcash's shielded transactions. Launched in July 2026, ZKas operates on a private-by-default network that guarantees transaction confidentiality, with user data remaining hidden at all times. With an impressive block settlement speed of just one second, ZKas is designed for efficiency and rapid processing.

The platform utilizes merged mining and the kHeavyHash work mechanism to enhance its security. Users can access an array of tools, including the ZKAS wallet, mining pools, and a BlockDAG explorer, which cater to both new and experienced users. ZKas also encourages community engagement through platforms like GitHub and Discord, bolstering its collaborative spirit.

This open-source and permissionless currency is structured to be auditable, ensuring transparency while adhering to strict privacy protocols. With no pre-mined coins or founder allocations, ZKas emphasizes a fair launch, making it a compelling option for those seeking both speed and privacy in the digital finance landscape.
