## Description

Zöld Jövő Környezetvédelmi Egyesület is a Hungarian environmental association focused on nature conservation and environmental awareness, particularly in Budapest’s Budafok-Tétény district and nearby areas. Its work centers on local natural sites, including the Tétényi Plateau, the Nagytétény Danube riverbank, and the Háros Bay and surrounding river branches. The association organizes guided walks, nature-based events, habitat management days, and bird-ringing activities, often bringing residents, volunteers, researchers, and public institutions together. It also supports environmental education through school competitions, field studies, and recognition of educators’ contributions. Its research and conservation projects assess local biodiversity and landscape history, with botanical, zoological, insect, and geological investigations informing public outreach and site care. The association shares its work through newsletters, publications, information materials, and website updates, and contributes comments and proposals on local planning and environmental issues. It also hosts discussions with specialists on topics such as river habitats, biodiversity, and drinking-water quality, helping communities understand environmental challenges and the value of protecting local natural areas.
