## Description

Zoo Bizar | Orvelte is a unique and engaging mini zoo located in the province of Drenthe, Netherlands. Situated in the historical village of Orvelte, Zoo Bizar offers a captivating experience for visitors of all ages. As the smallest zoo in the country, and possibly even in Europe, it provides an intimate setting to encounter various small and exotic animal species. The zoo is creatively set up in the barn of an old Saxon farmhouse, and many of the animals are housed in open enclosures, allowing for up-close and personal interactions. Knowledgeable staff members are always present to share fascinating information and demonstrate the peculiar behaviors of the animals. To ensure a pleasant and uncrowded visit, time slots are implemented, with multiple slots available throughout the day. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to participate in a sensory presentation given by a dedicated animal caregiver. This presentation occurs multiple times a day and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Zoo Bizar is not only a delightful destination for families, but also an ideal venue for children's parties, school trips, and family days out. After exploring the extraordinary animals, visitors can continue their adventure in the historic village of Orvelte, which offers a wealth of attractions and sights. Come and experience the wonder of Zoo Bizar | Orvelte, the smallest and most fascinating zoo in the Netherlands.
