## Description

Zooniverse is a people-powered research platform that connects volunteers with research projects across a wide range of subjects. Described as the world’s largest and most popular platform of its kind, it enables people to get involved in research through projects in arts, biology, climate, history, language, literature, medicine, nature, physics, space, and social science. The site supports participation through volunteer opportunities and also encourages people to educate others, collaborate, and donate. For researchers and project creators, Zooniverse provides resources for building projects, including a project-building tutorial, guidance on data processing, a glossary, and policies and best practices. Its community features include Talk, with troubleshooting and announcements to help participants engage with projects and the platform. Zooniverse also shares information about its team, publications, and frequently asked questions, and provides contact details, job information, system status, and security resources. By bringing the public into research activities, Zooniverse offers a way for people to contribute to work spanning many disciplines.
