Founded by Adam and Deirdre, the brand's story begins with their meeting at Chico State University and their subsequent move to the Bay Area to chase their dreams. Adam, an engineer at a prestigious Fortune 100 company, and Deirdre, a dedicated preschool teacher, eventually settled in Folsom.

In 1994, Adam established his own company specializing in manufacturing process and production machinery for various industrial clients, which quickly flourished into a multi-million dollar enterprise. Then, in 2004, they embarked on the exciting journey of building their own swimming pool. Combining Adam's engineering expertise with Deirdre's keen eye for design, Z Pool Designs was born.
