Zespół Szkół Specjalnych nr 1 w Mikołowie – Borowej Wsi is a unique educational institution dedicated to students with special educational needs. Our school comprises of the Primary School No. 1 named after Reverend Jan Twardowski, which includes four educational-therapeutic classes, and the Vocational School No.

2 with three class units. Our team consists of dedicated and experienced professionals who provide quality education, care, and support to students with varying degrees of intellectual disabilities, as well as those with associated disabilities, including physical impairments. We offer students the opportunity to start their education with us at the age of 7, but enrollment is also possible at any grade level.

Students can complete their education with us at the age of 24, receiving a diploma and a supplement prepared for each graduate of the Vocational School. At Zespół Szkół Specjalnych nr 1, we believe in the uniqueness of each student, valuing their individual personalities, emotions, abilities, and talents. We strive to discover and develop their potential to the fullest, based on the principles of orthodidactics.
