With a rich history dating back to 1980, when 8 bison were brought to an acclimatizing enclosure in Walcz forest, Żubry Zachodniopomorskie now aims to increase the population's genetic variety and improve their reproductive success. Currently, the bison live in an area of approximately 150 square kilometers, mostly in thick forests, but can also be seen feeding in open fields. However, population growth is hindered by car accidents and illegal shootings, as well as the limited gene pool within the small group of animals. That's why the brand emphasizes the importance of human intervention to ensure the survival of the bison in the region. The main goals of the brand's project include introducing animals from different herds of Poland to enhance genetic potential, dividing the herd into smaller groups to minimize damage to forests and agriculture, and educating the local society on the significance of the bison population. With these efforts, Żubry Zachodniopomorskie seeks to protect and develop the bison population to strengthen its genetic variation and ensure its long-term survival. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-0XGfSNo/w/190/h/96/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793352710564) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Sepia Skin | #935540 | accent | | Persian Blue | #204eba | dark | | Danube | #6b86cb | light | ## Fonts - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
