## Description

Boscamping Zwanemeer is a family-oriented woodland campsite in Gieten, Drenthe, set in Zwanemeer Forest on the Hondsrug. It offers a nature-focused holiday with 200 car-free pitches, including options for tents, campers, seasonal stays, group camping and annual pitches. Guests who prefer indoor accommodation can choose from a forest cabin, treehouses, a tree room, a log-cabin lodge or a traditional pipowagen.

Families can enjoy playgrounds, a large air trampoline and the Woudlopersclub, a nature education programme created with De Natuurderij. Children explore woodland skills with a passport and receive a certificate and hat when they complete it. Next to the campsite, the Zwanemeer outdoor swimming pool offers a competition pool, a leisure pool with a current, a waterslide and a toddlers’ pool; tourist guests can swim for free without limits.

On-site dining is available at Jimm’s Restaurant, open Thursday through Sunday from 4:30 p.m. Guests can order breakfast rolls through the campsite app for collection the next morning.
