## Description

Zyaku is a creator platform designed to keep people connected to journalism, creators and emergency information, even when internet access fails. It supports comics, clips, podcasts and articles, with tools for journalists to publish evolving “Living Stories” that show updates, corrections and why information changed. Readers can follow creators, subscribe, tip or pay to read individual articles, while eligible creators can earn through the platform and receive payouts via Stripe, bank transfer or Revolut.

Zyaku also offers disaster alerts based on a user’s city, state or connected country, without using their exact location. Its offline Emergency Pass includes a guide and lets users prepare a help message that is sent when connectivity returns. A device-encrypted Medical ID and one-tap “I’m Safe” feature are designed to help users share essential information with trusted people or responders. Phone-to-phone mesh messaging is in testing, and the open-source HoldSend library is described as early and not production-ready.

The platform emphasizes transparent moderation, appeal options and clear indicators of how well information is verified.
