The popular food brand unveiled a new logo and packaging.
The company that donates 100% of its profits to help children’s charities, rolled out a new visual identity that is “a modern new packaging rollout for the brand, to help it stand out to new and existing customers on shelves” according to a press release.
Established in 1982 by Paul Newman, Newman’s Own is an American food company that is currently headquartered in Westport, Connecticut.
The company specializes in food and beverage products, which include refrigerated drinks, snacks, salad dressings, and spices. Newman’s Own also produces pet food products such as treats and dog food. Among these food and beverage products are Newman O’s—the company’s trademark sandwich cookie—lemonade, coffee, tea, and Fig Newman’s.
In 1993, a division was created by Nell Newman called Newman’s Own Organics, which specialized in organic products. It became its own company in 2001 but went back as a division of Newman’s Own in 2014.
Newman’s Own also donates its profits to charity. Through Newman’s Own Foundation, the company donates 100% of the profits and royalties it receives and has donated around $570 million since the company was founded. The company in particular donates its profits to the children’s sector and has partnered with organizations such as FoodCorps, Partnership With Native Americans, Safe Water Network, and Wellness in the Schools.
