San Diego State University introduced a new logo and brand identity with a rebrand to coincide with the institution's 125th anniversary.
“The SDSU brand declares our aspirations to build upon our global reputation as a modern academic and research powerhouse and transborder university," said SDSU President Adela de la Torre in a statement. "Our brand showcases our positive impact on the region, state and nation, the attributes that draw top students and faculty, and the acclaim we receive for our programs, diversity and inclusion."
