112 Carlota Galgos is a nonprofit association dedicated to the protection and well-being of Spanish greyhounds, also known as galgos. Founded in 2012 and based in Andalucia, Spain, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving forever homes for galgos in need. At 112 Carlota Galgos, we believe that galgos make excellent family pets.

Our adoption program ensures a seamless process, from the first point of contact to finding the perfect galgo that matches your family and lifestyle. We provide comprehensive support throughout the adoption journey and beyond, ensuring a successful and happy transition for both you and your new four-legged family member. Galgos are known for their gentle temperament and superior health.

Unlike other large breed dogs, they have minimal health issues, live an average of 12 to 14 years, and require low exercise and grooming needs. They are affectionate, quiet, and are not known to bark excessively.
