1000 Women Strong is a national organizing hub that empowers and mobilizes Black women across the country, enabling them to reclaim their political strength. As an organizing and advocacy 501c4 nonprofit social welfare organization, their mission is to empower Black women and mobilize them for action. They achieve this through various avenues, including research, training, and field organizing.

With trained organizers on the ground in seven states, 1000 Women Strong has already made a significant impact. They have mobilized over 300,000 voters nationally for state and federal elections, as well as advocating for causes such as student debt forgiveness. In addition to their electoral work, they also focus on education campaigns and advocacy issues, ensuring that the voices of Black women and their allies are heard and represented.
