3DE Schools is a unique interdisciplinary high school model that aims to revolutionize education by breaking through traditional barriers and redesigning the framework from the inside out. Their purpose is to inspire and prepare young people for success in a global economy. Developed through a shared vision from leaders in education, business, and Junior Achievement, 3DE Schools believes that equitable access to high-quality education is the key to economic mobility. By creating public-private partnerships and re-engineering the education system to reflect the real world, they are able to better prepare students for life beyond the classroom. Starting with a pilot program at Banneker High School in 2015, the model quickly demonstrated its ability to drive student engagement and academic performance. Within four years, the model expanded to six schools in four districts, with each school showing measurable gains in students' knowledge, skills, and aspirations. Recognizing the potential impact, Junior Achievement USA created 3DE as a new national organization in 2018 to scale the model with fidelity. With a dedicated leadership team, a strong board of directors, and valued partners, 3DE Schools is committed to re-engineering high school education nationwide.
