Welcome to the website of 5e Montessori School Watergraafsmeer (5mw). We are a large public primary school located in Amsterdam's Watergraafsmeer district, with approximately 650 students and a team of about fifty dedicated staff members. At 5mw, we prioritize the individual child.

We believe that every child has unique talents and our goal is to create an environment where these talents are recognized and nurtured. As a Montessori school, we aim to prepare our students for life beyond school, following the Montessori educational philosophy of Help me to do it myself. Our school is supported by a highly involved parent community, with the majority of our students coming from Watergraafsmeer.
