Action for a Better Community (ABC) is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income individuals and families in Rochester, NY. We offer a range of programs and services aimed at empowering our community members to become self-sufficient and build strong new beginnings. Our programs include the Energy Conservation Program, which helps homeowners enhance their homes' energy efficiency.

We also provide adult education classes for individuals working towards their G. E. D.

Additionally, we offer support for addiction recovery through our New Directions program. ABC believes in the power of community action to bring about positive change. We care about the entire community and are committed to helping people help themselves and each other.

Through our programs and services, we have assisted over 5,000 individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through improved education, employment, better health, and stronger families.
