ACT is a leading organization dedicated to reducing new HIV infections in Toronto and promoting the independence, dignity, health, and well-being of individuals living with HIV and AIDS, as well as those at increased risk. Founded in 1983 by a group of community volunteers, ACT strives to create a Toronto with zero new HIV infections, zero HIV-related stigma and discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths. ACT achieves its mission through comprehensive HIV and sexual health education, prevention, outreach, and support services.
