We have been serving the San Francisco community since 1889, with our mission to promote the knowledge and appreciation of French language and Francophone cultures. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we offer a variety of products and services. For those looking to learn French, we provide French language courses for adults, children, and businesses.

Whether you're a beginner or at an advanced level, our stimulating environment offers multiple opportunities to learn and practice easily. We also offer language certifications, including the TCF and the DAEFLE. In addition to language courses, we organize cultural activities for adults and children, offering a comprehensive look at Francophone culture in the 21st century.

Our library houses the oldest collection of French books in the Bay Area, and we also provide online resources for native speakers and students of French.
